Greetings and Welcome to Macalester College Football Parent Association

Hello Parents and Friends of Mac Football!

For those of you who are new, Macfpa stands for Macalester Parent Football Association.  We are all members as we have sons on the Macalester football team!  Macfpa’s goal has been to provide a community for the parents, post-game meals for our sons and the football staff, and spirit in support of the Macalester College Football Team. 

Just to give you an idea of what we do, last year we provided food for the players and staff after each game, win or lose.  This show of support allowed the players and staff to unwind a bit after a stressful week of classes, studying, practice, and the game—and what better way to accomplish this than around a table of food with family and friends!  Macfpa is totally dependent upon the financial donations of the parents.  Macfpa does not receive any financial support from Macalester. 

With the financial support of the parents and donations of all the beverages, chips, and desserts, Macfpa served Root Beer floats, chili dogs, pasta, sub sandwiches for the games on the road, hamburgers, sloppy joes, and shredded beef sandwiches.  In addition, from the Macfpa funds, we were also able to give each senior their own jersey and a framed action shot from the season at the end-of-the year banquet.  Of course, we want to continue this tradition and grow with the help of your financial gifts as well as your time, talent, and ideas. 

Our mission is to provide a community for the parents, post-game meals for our boys and staff, and spirit in support of the Macalester Scots Football team.
