Our mission is to provide a community for the parents, post-game meals for our boys and staff, and spirit in support of the Macalester College Football Team. |
Greetings and Welcome to Macalester Football Parent Association
The purpose of the Macalester Football Parent Association is to support
the Macalester football players, coaches, and trainers, to supply the post game
snacks/meals, and to be a resource to communicate and share our football experience.
We are a young organization and we look forward to meeting our freshman families and
share ideas to provide and exciting and fulfilling football season.
In the past, our support has included an informational website, Game Photo Gallery,
football sweatshirts and t shirts, end of the season senior gathering, and providing post
game snacks and meals through monetary and food donations from the families. The
post game snacks/meals can range from water, fruit, cookies,gatorade, sandwiches,
and pizza from Dominos.
The M Club and Maclaester College usually provide a meal for two of the home games.
We may need to provide a post game snack/meal for the remaining 8 games. The
current balance is $1,372, which is not enough to feed the team for eight games. We
are asking for a donation, of any amount, in order to provide the snack/meal for the
season. We have a budget for the year of $4,000.
The Macalester Football future looks very bright. The athletic center will open soon. We
have a very talented new class of recruits. We have a strong and tenacious group of
returning football players. And, most of all, we have a very gifted and dedicated
coaching staff.
Enclosed is the membership registration, which will help us to stay in touch
with each other and provide support for our sons.
We look forward to working together with all the families and invite your support, your
ideas, and your friendship.
